This is a list of historical events that happened on Shartak during 2007.

January

  • Leaders in the native settlements order a spring clean to remove loose poison darts and blowpipes from medical huts.
  • The 1st Imperial Privateer Regiment sacks Wiksik.

February

March

  • Wixix Contest Division Prize Section organise a headhunt competition - the Dork Cup - to be held in May.
  • Armadox and the Scavengers raze Raktam.

April

  • Easter Bunnies are again seen on the Island.
  • An earthquake shakes the Island, the epicentre being somewhere to the South East of the Island.
  • Stories of Spirits possessing the living begin to increase.
  • Fourth Battle of York ends.
  • The Imperial Bank changes its name to the Bank of Shartak.
  • The Independent Republic of Fort Creedy declares independence.
  • Simeon Carter maps the newly arisen Midway Island and reports its presence widely via carrier pigeon.

May

  • Escariot wins the Dork Cup.
  • Strange noises are heard from the mountain. Tales spread of worried natives being overheard discussing some fearsome bird-like creatures that once roamed parts of the island.
  • The Mercenary's Guild disbands.
  • 5punk arrives on the island.

June

  • Juicing of fruit creates new business opportunities for those on the Island.
  • Strange lights are seen in the skies about the Island that display a ghostly message of '#Shartak'.
  • Those using maps start to share tips on how to make more use of them, noting interesting locations for further investigation.
  • As a consequence of attrition from the Fourth Battle of York the 1st Imperial Privateers Regiment is officially disbanded.
  • The York Coalition falls apart, and 5punk assumes de facto control over York.

  • An election is held in Durham.

November

  • Salvaged GPS units begin to show signs of deteriorating batteries.
