Durham is one of the four outsider camps on Shartak. Located on the far western side of the island's southern shore, it consists of twenty-two huts in an oblong clearing.
A shaman named Kadmor is held captive in the center of the clearing.

Points of Interest
Club Palermo
Club Palermo and the adjacent Theatre represent the wild side of Durham life. Club Palermo is a bar/restaurant run by Durham's first and (allegedly) most notorious crime family. Entertainments include cabaret, gambling, barfights and mob-style executions. Rumour has it that the Theatre is a front for more risque vice activities.
Durham Dojo
Durham Dojo is a combat training facility run by Durham Utility. We provide a place for people to practice their fighting skills and gain XP through practice fights with each other or with the combat instructor. Everyone is welcome to take advantage of this free service. Any weapon/method of attack is allowed, but killing is not permited.
FAK-U
First Aid Kit Universal (FAK-U) is a medical service provided to those in the Durham area. Injured people will be healed free-of-charge by resident staff at the FAK-U medical centre. FAK-U staff will also make emergency calls outwith the town limits. Contact FAK-U via IRC (#shartak on EFnet) or the official forum.
Trading Post
The trading post is a frequent meeting point for Kraken Hunters on the Durham Peninsula.
Trail to York
Starting at the ammunition hut, move 3 squares north east, then follow the trail eastward (eventually turning south east and then east again) until you arrive in York.
