The WickSick Headhunters are an informal associaton of natives who practice the almost-forgotten art of headhunting. The passion for headhunting usually runs deep in your soul. When someone discovers this passion and acts upon it he is said to have gone 'wicksick'. Being 'wicksick' and the village of Wiksik are to each other as 'Stockholm Syndrome' is to the city of Stockholm. All over Shartak island natives, outsiders and pirates can, and do, go wicksick.
The WickSick Headhunters have lots of secret (and some not so secret) rituals but our gatherings mainly involve headhunting and bragging about headhunting. Other favourite pastimes include discussions on the best way to keep our trophies from rotting and drinking magnificent brown liquid pilfered from dead outsiders.
Our rules are simple:
- Give the last blow with the machete as poison darts do not sever heads.
- If you want to go wicksick, please do so with only one Shartak character.
