General Information

These items belong in no specific category, yet help in everyday life on the island. They range from helping one find their way on the island, to making signs. Some items have links which expand on their uses.

Backpack

  • Location Found - Trader's Hut
  • Use - Expands inventory from 70 slots to 100 slots. Effects are not stackable.
  • Special Notes - Trader only makes one of these a day.

Crab

  • Location Found - Beach, dunes
  • Use - None that is known of.
  • Special Notes - Sometimes will scuttle away, causing 1 HP of damage as it pinches you.

Easter Egg

  • Location Found - Jungle squares during special occasions (mainly around Easter).
  • Use - "You crack open the egg and a small pink marshmallow Peep hops out. It stares up at you menacingly but as you devour it quickly, you feel a little queasy from all the sugar."

Egg

  • Location Found - Mountain Path
  • Use - After holding an egg for one week, it will hatch into a shargle. Burying the egg will delay hatching until someone digs up the egg.

  • Use - Can be filled up with seeds from fruit.
  • Special Notes - You need one of these to seed fruit. Only the same type of fruit can go in one bag.

Ghastly/Jolly Jack O'Lantern

  • Location Found - Carved from a pumpkin. Pumpkins can be found at pumpkin patches, and in the jungle during Halloween.
  • Use - Can be used to scare away spirits, has a chance to break after a successful exorcism

Gold Coin

  • Location Found - Almost anywhere.
  • Use - Main currency of the island.
  • Special Notes - Gold Coins do not take up inventory space.

  • Location Found - Ruins, Hold of the Shipwreck
  • Use - Can be traded for lots of gold.
  • Special Notes - Unlike gold coins, gems do take up inventory space.

GPS unit

  • Location Found - Outsider Resource huts.
  • Use - Gives the coordinate location of your character when a signal is available in a non-dense, non-enclosed area. Coordinates are in the form [-70.366,+26.443], where the first number is the X coordinate (longitude) and the second is the Y coordinate (latitude). Moving a single square represents a change in coordinate in that direction of 0.001

  • Location Found - Native and Outsider Resource Huts
  • Use - Can sharpen a weapon, changing it's status from blunt to normal.
  • Special Notes - Sharpening Stones are needed to start a Campfire.

Smokey Crystal

  • Location Found - Sacred Space
  • Use - None that is known of.
  • Special Notes - With the exclusion of Sacred Space, it is not known whether or not the Smokey Crystal will come back. It is still available at some Trader Huts for sale.

Tinder

  • Location Found - Fashioned from driftwood/deadwood
  • Gold Coins Offered At Traders - Trader will not accept one of these for trading.
  • Use - Starts a fire.
