You might spend 25ap going one way, before you realize you're not getting anywhere. Then you use 25 more to correct yourself, then you use your remaining 25 ap (assuming you wait for 75ap) to get a walk worth 25ap. So you used 75ap getting 25ap's displacement.

:I always play w/ my native character first, so I was able to catch on to what was going on after a while. However, lulled as I was into a false sense of security by the knowledge of this act, I committed an even bigger blunder with my pirate character, literally backing him into a corner on Mount Shartak from which there was no way to escape. The inaccessible tiles were unclickable as always, and clicking on the "accessible" tiles would have forced me back into the inaccessible mountain. Therefore, until April 1st is over, I'm afraid the One-Eyed Cook is stuck... I did set up a sign on the spot so that future generations venturing to the spot would be aware of this "deed." ;) --Specialist290 02:41, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Today was wierd for Rob and Rozen, but Rincewind is used to the strange phenomina of April Fool's day backwardsness. He does not go to the toilet on this day, that would be very very bad. --Rozen 08:52, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

The UD april fool finaly revealed itself. Tanks run over zombies and safehouses get airstriked. When you click the link of the tank or strike it just says 'April fools, it didn't realy. Carry on' - thing is, it'd be interesting if the tanks and strikes happened, keep everyone on thier toes. --Rozen 16:55, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

This is the page where we shall log the things that Simon does for us on April Fool's Day! If anyone knows what happened in a previous year, kindly edit it in. If anything happened.

April Fool's Calendar

2010

 • Players were caught wearing strange colored clothing, which would change with every reload of the character screen.

2009

 • In conjunction with Anthor's Mystery Contest, false coordinates at [-70.581,+26.430] to Anthor's whereabouts were planted in the Shartak game news. Upon arrival to the designated area, one would find a signpost that said, Sorry, Anthor's not really here. April fool's.

2008

 • A level 43 Bandit named SmashnGrab was created solely for 2008's April Fool's Day prank. Upon logging into a character on April Fool's Day, an event appear that said that their entire inventory was stolen by a bandit. However, after the next use of AP, their inventory would reappear.

2007

 • Player names were reversed on-screen.
 • Movement reversed (left goes right, right goes left.. etc)
