In updating a shaman page, it is possible to make all the necessary changes in a single edit, using the 'show preview' button to check your changes before saving. I begin by moving the last current sighting to the top of the previous sightings, and then edit the current sighting (gps coordinates, time and date) to reflect the new current sighting.  Preview to check and then save.  Three edits clutter the history of the individual wiki page, and the recent changes list for the Wiki.  Please try not to make more edits than you need to. --Johan Crichton 07:36, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

I was going to ask who is that John you mention, but I see now you probably meant Johan. I don't think Johan was claiming that you should stop updating the shaman pages. The point of contention is that when editing a page, it is possible to save it only once. The preferred way is to click on the "show preview" button as many times as needed to look at the results of your edits. Then, when you are satisfied, click on "save page". The reason is that people who watch the wiki use the "recent pages" link on the left sidebar and when somebody makes a lot of changes to a page in the same day they all show up there making it hard to read. Of course sometimes you forget to add something and you notice it after saving, so it is not always one edit = one save. Just try to save as few times as possible and everybody will be happy. --Oktavius 00:27, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, but I used the edit option that appears on the right instead of the one on the top, which made it so that I made at least three edits every time I added. Back then I couldn't figure out the one to edit the entire page. --Edwardel 00:55, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Shaman Updates
