Parents of Armadox

'Mother of Armadox' and 'Father of Armadox' are two characters that are played by different players and chase each other (and hopefully sometimes, their son) through Raktam, just in case someone wondered. --Foo Fighter 16:59, 5 April 2006 (BST)

Really? I always assumed they were the same player, but they seemed good about not truly zerging, so I didn't mind. That's kinda neat.--Wifey 20:30, 7 May 2006 (BST)

Recruiting

Heh. Had I known about this group earlier, I'd have joined from the start. I've been in Raktam for a long time now.--Wifey 20:30, 7 May 2006 (BST)

Wifey as someone who threatens the indigenous people of Raktam and fails to respect our traditions your presence would not be welcome anyway. --Wurzug 21:26, 8 May 2006 (BST)
I think you're a tad confused.--Wifey 21:33, 8 May 2006 (BST)

Open Letter

Dear Raktamites,

my name is James Frazer and I am an Anthropologist. I belong to the outsider community, but believe me, I am completely different. I never did any harm to a native. Instead of this I healed natives and gave them gold coins and always approached them in a friendly and peaceful way.

I want to learn more about your sophisticated culture, which I believe can only happen in a field-study. Therefore I would humbly like to ask for your protection. Only if you safeguard me I can have a productive stay at Raktam.

The main aim of my field-study is to give the outsiders back home a deep and scientifically-grounded insight and understanding for your culture. This will make outsiders less ignorant and will generally help to establish peace and understanding between natives and outsiders.

The method of my fieldstudy will be participant observation, which means that I will be around the village for a certain time and will participate in all of the activities you allow me to take part in. I will do nothing else but watch and make some notes. Sometimes, if there are any volunteers, I would be glad to interview some of your people. Aswell I can serve as a translator or be helpful in negotiations with outsiders. I would be glad to hear your opinion on this and answer further questions.

Yours sincerely, James Frazer, chairman of ASSI [1] -- 15 May 2006

I am not the leader, certainly, but I will not attack you, should you come. I will keep an eye out for you, but I warn you that we have recently suffered a number of attacks; therefore, this might not be the best time. If you come, we will certainly need to set you up in a hut. Which one, I'm not sure; perhaps it might even be best to keep you in Wurzug's hut, since that way no one will think that you're a murderous invader, hiding in someone's home.--Wifey/Jabberwockee 19:43, 15 May 2006 (BST)

The Captain Sends His Congratulations

Cheers to the Raktamites for reaching 30 members! I'll think positively of you next time I send one of you back to your home shaman. YAAHHRGH! Tyler Whitney 01:24, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

A Gentleman's Wager

A sportsmanlike match has been proposed between a member of the Scurvy Crew and the Jolly Roger Gang to take place at the ruins well south of the shipwreck. All habitants of Shartak are invited to witness the match, and bet upon their favorite fighter. Natives who are at the wreck at the date of the match are guarenteed to be unharrassed by the participating clans and Outsiders. If needs be we'll postpone the fight a couple days to let the most people who want to join in the fun. Details will be posted on the Scurvy Crew's and whatever other pages agree to the match. It should be wicked fun. I mean, Come On! It's fight night!!!! Tyler Whitney 03:13, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Still Around?

I was just sort of wondering if the Raktamites were still around? The last update in the news section was ten months ago. Cheers. Ninjoc 13:59, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Hey, I've just gotten back after a really long absence due to cpu trouble and I wuz just wondering, are y'all still active? --Moctezuma 01:11, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

The Raktamites haven't been active for a while. You might look into joining the Royal Court of Raktam.--Black Joe 04:14, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
