Bounty Complaints
Where convicted felons protest their punishment. It's democracy in action, kids!
What the Hell did I do to you? I only kill outsiders for self defence. I did not deserve that bounty. I will be coming back to York soon, on a peaceful journey. I will hold no ill will to oden187, but please notify your members not to kill me again If I get killed again, I will show you my true essence of pirate combat. Understand? Captain Dan/Surgeon (A.K.A. MajesticNinja)
You didn't read our main page, then, I assume? We don't like pirates in York, even the ones who pretend to be peacable. Our duty is to the citizens of York, and we will protect them from pirates and other scum by any means. --Order of Patriots 18:11 28 June 2006
Hell with you! Shartak is not rulled by anyone! What gives you the right to punish me for helping my group? You are not but a load of trigger happy butchers who claim to be protecting people! Patriots? I've seen monkeys with a more patriotic sense of duty. The Colonial Police are doing nothing but doing their jobs. I have nothing but respect for them as they do what they are supposed to do. Keep your friends, cause I'll be danm well closer... Captain Dan/Surgeon (A.K.A. MajesticNinja)
- We are the people! We're just a group of concerned citizens who wish to encourage responsible behavior in York. --Order of Patriots, 18:02, 29 June 2006
Thank you
Yes it is I. The Butcher of York. I do love that title. I look forward to meeting all of you in-game. Now I'm off to butcher some more York-men.--Tom Failur 10:28, 2 June 2006 (BST)
Mercenaries Guild
Hello OOP. I feel the persecution of the Mercenaries Guild is very unjust and un-patriotic. What reasons are there to promote the killing of Mercenaries? We work for money, not malicious intent and that means we could work for you or the CP. Why do you seek to harm us?--HVLD 23:38, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Killing for money is a dastardly, criminal pursuit that has no place in a civilised society. The Order is trying to create and maintain a safe York where honest citizens need not live in fear of pirate attacks, terrorist outrages, or being killed simply because someone put money on their head. Also, as noted on our main page, the Guild has been implicated in pirate violence around York (to quote Tom Failur, the infamous 'Butcher of York' - "I will return to York and kill again, as I am being paid to do it."), and has undeniably been responsible for the prescence of several notorious pirates within our fair city. This is unnaceptable behaviour, and we wish to outlaw these barbaric practices from our province. --Order of Patriots, 13:11 8 July 2006
"or being killed simply because someone put money on their head." is this not exactly the same as putting a bounty on someone's head for a reason or another? Even is something happened by accident, or otherwise was not intentional? Your contradiction is quite startling and shockingly "unacceptable"--HVLD 18:12, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
So you're not denying that Tom Failur was a Guild member, or that his rampages through York were Guild business, and specifically targeted those whom the Guild wanted dead? --Order of Patriots, 23:15 9 July 2006
Bah, forgive my very, very late reply. I only just got my internet back. Anyway - no, I'm not denying Tom went on a rampage. Guild business? Yes, it was a job. People the Guild want dead? No, it was people our contractor wanted dead, not the MCG. But we are mercenaries. We do not hold a grudge against York or its people, but if someone pays us, we do their job. We don't cost alot (unless its especially hard) so many people can hire us. Could you please stop WBHazen from killing me - the MCG is not "anti-york", we are pro-hirer.--HVLD 23:59, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
I was being paid to kill those people so I killed them. Since the job has finished I have not harmed a single York citizen. I understand that you are dedicated to defending York so your hostility towards us is understandable. But you must understand that we are not a threat to you or citizens of York. So if you kill us surely you are no better than the murderers you wish to stop? We come to York with peaceful intent and we are killed by those who are trying to make the streets safe. Surely we can put our past disagreements behind us.--Tom Failur 14:01, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
PARLEY!!
The Scurvy Crew of the Hell-born Strumpet be perplexed at the hostilities ye order directs towards pirates in general. Pirates be your outsider cousins, and the Scurvy Crew has never turned its wrathful gaze at any outsider group or village. Even though the possibility was considered after the 1st Dalpok Raid it was roundly rejected when the question was put to the crew. There were even some bottles thrown. More than usual... Therefore Captain Tyler Whitney hereby invokes the right of Parley set down by the pirates Roberts and Morgan to negotiate the safe passage of members of the Scurvy Crew through York. This seems a simple enough matter to arrange, Yorkmen would allow the presence of pirates sailing under the Scurvy Crew's jolly roger in their village. If any member of the crew were found to have perpetrated an unprovoked assault on a citizen of York his name would be passed onto the Scurvy Crew so that he or she might be disciplined by the Captain. What say ye? Do we have an accord? -Captain Tyler Whitney
- Absolutely Not. We reserve the Right to strike at any pirate on the York Peninsula, in the water adjacent to the Peninsula, or in York itself. No pirate shall be safe on the York Peninsula, and any pirate sleeping in the city of York is just asking to be executed by us. We are everywhere, "the invisible power in York". So if any of your vermin feel the desire to travel this way for any reason: Don't. Unless you also feel the desire to be shot and killed by solid York-made rifles, that is! --Order of Patriots, 01:45, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
