MAD PIERRE |

MadPierre was a hard-drinking Scottish privateer who terrorised the French fleets during the reign of Elizabeth I. Shipwrecked and stranded on Shartak, he carved a new career for himself as a trader in gems, rum and opium. When he was upright and respectable he was a serving member of the 1st Derby Privateers. Although not the most obvious role for a freebooter-at-heart, Mad Pierre enjoyed being paid for working off his hangovers by gutting the murderers and scum who plagued his adopted home town of Derby. Upon the demise of the Eastern Federation in the winter of 2008 Mad Pierre resigned from the Privateers and took to the jungles. Natives tell of noises that can be heard on some of the less-travelled Northern trails; drunken singing, the smashing of bottles, the clash of steel on steel, the screams of the dying. It seems that Mad Pierre's phantom is still out there somewhere. | |

The Privateers were responsible for the protection of the fair town of Derby and were known for their unsurpassed abilities in the fields of alcohol consumption, backstabbing, complaining about hangovers and cutting enemies into bloody chunks. |
