Discordian Cargo Cult is an aesthetic facade of blind creativity within Shartak. It is open to Native and Outsider characters. Its goals are only communicated to clan officers on a need-to-know basis.

The Roules
The Absolutely Mountainless Islet has been claimed as Discordian Cargo Cult territory; any character who ventures onto the islet is hereby advised of the Roules:
- Don't Kill Eris Or You Will Have Bad Karma For The Rest Of Your Real Life!
- We say "Gargantua!" instead of "Mango!"
- Mountaineers may not join the Discordian Cargo Cult (unless they are already RE members)
- If you know the difference between "uncountably infinite" and "dense" in set theory, please tell us
- If at first you don't succeed, squint and look at it sideways.
The Sub-Bylaws
- Join the Royal Expedition or Die!
- Elephants are harder to kill than parrots
- The follwing rule does not exist
- The preceding rule is a kick-stand on a tricycle
- If a Mango tree falls in the jungle and no one is there to collect the fruit, why does it say Mango!!!!!?
- The Mountaineers are incorrigible!!!!!
What's Going On
Apparantly, the Royal Expedition thinks the Islet is called Shark Mountain, just because there are Mango trees there. Well the True name is "The Absoloutely Mountainless Islet". So we are having a civil war with them. The war is about control of the Islet, and anyone who says otherwise shall have to dual Ghandi in the middle of the night! Also, any Mountaineers found on the Islet shall be killed first.
A Clarification
These roules only apply on the island. Discordian Cargo Cultists are not waging war against the general population of infidels. Only those who venture onto the island without joining us.
Also, just because we are at war with the RE, does not mean we prohibit RE members from joining us. We only say that RE members who are NOT Discordian Cargo Cultists should stay off the Islet. Or die. Or give us a lifetime supply of Mango-a-Roni, the Western Shartak treat!
