Testing Clanbox Templates
I used the Eyecons to vary on since that was the first really broken one I found. For each of four templates, I display with each of clan_image and official_id empty and specified to try to test for breakage.

Apparently this broke after a MediaWiki update. This example shows correctly if both clan_image and official_id are empty, but varying degrees of brokeness else.

SkullFace Template - Template:Clanbox_fix
I think this is a copy of User:Skull_Face/Template:Clanbox_fix, in any event it was last touched by Skull Face on September 5, 2008. This breaks if both are specified, it is fine otherwise.

Alien pirate demon Template - Template:Clanbox_test
This version is by Alien pirate demon on September 5, 2008.
It was edited March 12, 2010 by Johan Crichton to change one of the Category:Clans references to Category:Officially recognized clans.
It is slightly broken when clan_image is empty (colspan="2" in extra row). When official_id is empty it still gives a link that doesn't go anywhere. This is because Alien pd removed the conditional code in the original template and cleaned up what was left in order to fix the broken template.
