Fourth Battle of York
The Fourth Battle of York started in early-to-mid-February 2007 when Keiichi hired the Mercenary's Guild to seige York. Also joining the invasion is the Jolly Roger Gang, who have declared and put their their long-awaited York raid into action.
Upon being tipped off that the Mercenaries Guild where planning something in York, several Colonial Police officers surrounded a hut where mercenary leader The Malice was sleeping. Upon discovering he was surrounded, he tried to escape but was shot dead by Colonial Officers. Swearing revenge, the Guild found that an invasion was needed. Saying they would only attack the Colonial Police and the York Protestant League, the Guild rushed into York and killed several officers and citizens who had voiced their dislike of the Guild.
Although weakened, the Colonial Police did not stop fighting. In a matter of no time, they launched a powerful counter-attack that killed nine mercenaries, among them 'The Butcher of York' himself- Tom Failur. Soon, armed reinforcements from the Order of Patriots, 1st Colonial Militia, and the Derby Hospitallers largley strengthenged York's defenses.
The Guild, out of arms and men, vowed to return with more soldiers. A few days later, the Mercenaries Guild returned, and avaraged "five kills a day" according to the Guild's spokesman. Using information they've gathered, the Derby Hospitallers helped the York forces in several ways During this time, the York forces put together very effective real-time patrols.
The 1st Imperial Privateers Regiment announced they're pulling out of Wiksik and are helping the Mercenaries Guild in their invasion.
The Colonial Police, 1st Colonial Militia, and Order of Patriots then sucessfully kept the Mercenaries out of York. Meanwhile, Pirate and member of the Jolly Roger Gang, Patch was able to get into York, and kill an ex-Colonial Police officer before being hunted down and killed by two other Colonial Police officers.
Rozen, Pirate and vocal anti-Yorker, tried visiting York on a "peaceful mission", but was driven from York by W B Hazen, member of the Order of Patriots.
As of today, the battle in the Outskirts of York rages on.
