Message to the savages

You folks are simply amusing! Threatening us with two members? I think it's more like YOU stay off of Shartak entirely! We came in peace but we'll defend ourselves with force if need be! I repeat, leave us alone or be hunted. These are our terms! --One of many doctors 00:17, 7 April 2006 (BST)

Three members now! Although Eris appears to be fairly incapacitated. Keep invading our island and we'll keep sending you packing, my friends! --Less Than Lethal 20:24, 25 April 2006

We're usually too busy getting bitten by sharks to prosecute our war against you. "Join us or die" is words. Morgan Freelance killing Oulatek is action. He started the war. Take it up with him. Oh, and get it straight. We're not savages. We're barbarians. -Oulatek 04:57, 2 May 2006 (BST)

"False words are not only evil in themselves, but they infect the soul with evil." - Plato. I must respectfully submit that death threats lie outside the scope of the schoolyard defence of 'only kidding'. You spoke, I acted. Anothertwilight 05:50, 2 May 2006 (BST) aka Morgan Freelance
"Truth, like light, blinds. Falsehood, on the contrary, is a beautiful twilight which enhances every object." -Camus. I must respectfully submit that you have joined us or died, and therefore at this point have not broken our Roules. -Oulatek 22:30, 2 May 2006 (BST)
applauds both for the quote and the demonstration of your 'Roules' ... applicability Anothertwilight 00:14, 3 May 2006 (BST) aka Morgan Freelance

To Outlatek

Joined us have you? --One of many doctors 22:50, 2 May 2006 (BST)

I don't see anything in the RE bylaws prohibiting membership in more than one group; nor do I see any such provision in the Discordian Cargo Cult's Roules. -Oulatek 03:41, 4 May 2006 (BST)
Ah but Outlatek you are a pirate and the RE does not formally recognize pirates as Outsiders at this time without a special case. Thanks for the idea though. --One of many doctors 02:15, 6 May 2006 (BST)

You call me a 12 year old fool?! If this is in response to the comment I made on Shark Island, then clearly you would have recognized that your honorary DCC member Morgan Freelance indeed created that page (note - I am NOT bashing Morgan Freelance);
Secondly, that name was proposed not as an actual name, but as an idea to exhibit the fact that a name should have some meaning, not just an aesthetic facade of blind creativity.
Unlike you fine sir, I have honor and dignity: Oulatek, I challenge you to a Duel! Pistols or Swords?! --Gandhi 22:18, 4 May 2006 (BST)

"an aesthetic facade of blind creativity" is such a good phrase that I'm going to steal it. I recant on my accusation of twelve-year-oldness, and I accept your dual. If you're giving me choice of weapon, I pick machete.

draft of an NPOV entry for the islet/island

I have attempted to draft what I hope is a relatively neutral-point-of-view entry for the wiki that links to both your La Islet Bonobo and our Shark Island pages. I have tried to keep it relatively sparse and to link to the more detailled pages, rather than trying to encompass everything on one page (and inevitably leading to both groups feeling disatisfied that their position has been unfairly represented). I would appreciate your criticism and/or editiorial modifications - especially regarding the dates when you first claimed the islet and first named it.Anothertwilight 02:39, 5 May 2006 (BST)

The Mountaineers

As fellow explorers, we of the Mountaineers (and, by that, I mean "I," since, at present, I'm the one Mountaineer) greet you all and offer partnership. While I know your focus is on the islands, I'm sure that many of you are also curious about the mountain. Perhaps some of your number (only outsiders, however; savages need not apply) would be interested in preserving the mountain and protecting her. Any such individuals would be welcome in the Mountaineers (and, as is said on the page, they need not leave the DCC). They won't find me there now, though, if they go looking; I'm making a supply run.--Wifey 20:30, 15 May 2006 (BST)
