In general
January
- In Wiksik, Chief Joe has been crowned. Joe and Anthor negotiate the Kingdom of Wiksik's policies, ending with Joe declaring a raid on Derby. In response, Anthor declares bounties on the raiders. The Hanged Misfit, the primary clan in Derby, steels itself for imminent attack.
February
- The Hanged Misfit successfully defend Derby. The Wiksiki raid is called off, and a bonfire is held instead.
- Because Raktam's government has dissolved at this point, the clever outsider Raffles uses the opportunity to take over Raktam, and the eponymous Royal Court of Greater Rafftam is formed. Though Raffles is a peaceful king, several Raktamites challenge his authority.
