In general

War is something of a byword for negative character associations. But while conflict and competition are muffled, cultural and personal achievements are made.

January

  • In Wiksik, Chief Joe has been crowned. Joe and Anthor negotiate the Kingdom of Wiksik's policies, ending with Joe declaring a raid on Derby. In response, Anthor declares bounties on the raiders. The Hanged Misfit, the primary clan in Derby, steels itself for imminent attack.

February

  • Patrons of the Hanged Misfit repel Derby from attack.
  • Chief Joe disbands the Kingdom of Wiksik, rekindling Anthor's will, who reforms the clan.
  • Raktam's government has dissolved. The clever outsider Raffles takes over Raktam, and the eponymous Royal Court of Greater Rafftam is formed. Several Rafftamites challenge his authority.

March

  • Remalle the pirate declares vengeance for a comrade against the Council of Wiksik and the Tribe of the Tarak. From the jungles, beastly wendigos reap blood.
  • On March 15th, a rockfall opens the Sacred Space atop the mountain, with some changes. It was sealed for nearly three years.
Omg ponies!

April

  • The game is electrified on April fool's day when the islanders gain adorable pony names and bubble gum colors. Foal fever seems to be epidemic across the globe. Et tu, Shartak?

May

  • Sign on the Trotted Line: Roadside bandits are wanted for justice. Instead of the usual fare, these bandits target signposts due to some undisclosed mental disorder.
  • Fester Shinetop's MS Paint Adventure Comics debuts.

June

  • Eyes of a Hawk, the accomplished hunter, adds the people of Shartak to his game cabinet. The project was prepared in the span of over a year and was executed for two days. After sweeping through each settlement, killing their inhabitants and town shamen, he totals 101 individual kills and 21810 XP, setting a new record. People are still whispering about the team who aided him. Hear that? It's the sound of everyone's head spinning. To the ground.

July

  • A handful of visitors and locals of Derby rebel against the patrons of the Hanged Misfit. Many reasons are cited, the main being treated like a second class person.
  • Raffles continues to purport to exercise control over Raktam, ruling with an ironic fist, despite a claim to the throne of Raktam by the Raktami elder The Wise Dice.

August

  • The Team Tathers Shargle, Bears and Goat Extravaganza commences on the mountain. The mountain is aswarm with dangerous beasts. Jhelai takes an early massive lead. The contest heralds the reappearance of former Grand Vizier and bon vivant Neil Tathers, and former Raktam sovereign Blue Hummingbird, both raised from the dead.
  • An influx of new arrivals from the faraway land of Malton leads to the creation of the York Colonial Corps, who assert control over York.
  • Master pirate Raffles calls upon a long tradition of pirate invasion of York. Pirates rally to his flag.
