Animals

There are a number of animals around the island that can be attacked. Some of them will attack on sight, others will tend to run away. These are only the animals that have been spotted so far, it's possible that there are others to be found.

XP reward corresponds to the amount of extra XP that you gain for killing each animal.

The XP Gains page has observed that the bonus XP reward for killing an animal appears to be random.

Punching

Tried punching an elephant and got something other than "You miss" or "You hit" - didn't see what it was as I clicked again too quickly.

• You attack the elephant and miss. Suddenly attacking the elephant with your bare hands doesn't seem so clever!
• You attack the elephant and miss. Pausing a moment to reflect on this, tackling the elephant with your bare hands might be considered crazy!

This happened to me when I attacked a large stag with my fists. Perhaps this applies to other animals as well?

Confirmed it displays this for tigers as well.

Does not display for large deer. I just killed one by beating it to death with my bare hands. Rawr!
