Background
When Dutch soldier Dennis Kuijt first placed his size 9 boot on the sand of Shartak he knew that the mysterious island lying in front of him would bring him fame and fortune. Unfortunately the first thing it brought him was a bad case dysentery, and when he finally had the energy to venture into the jungle, a native chopped him down with a machete. When Dennis awoke in the Durham settlement he knew that that kind of aggression would not stand. He found the armory hut and started collecting bullets for his rifle.....
Mission
The first objective of the Durham Pistoleers is to keep Durham safe from both the primitive natives as well as settlers from Derby and York. If encountered within Durham borders, members of these groups should be asked in a friendly, but firm tone to hand over their gold and leave the area quietly. If they don't a warning shot should be fired, preferably at the intruders legs. If they still don't leave, they deserve the full rifle barrage! The second objective is to gather as much gold as possible - it's why we left our safe European harbours innit?
Organisation
As for now the Durham Pistoleers uses the Amory Hut [??,??] as base. The Pistoleers invite rifle wielding Durham men of all nationalities to join the group, by adding ones name to the list below, and make Durham a safer, and richer, place to stay
