- Leaders in the native settlements order a spring clean to remove loose poison darts and blowpipes from medical huts.
February
March
- Wixix Contest Division Prize Section organise a headhunt competition - the Dork Cup - to be held in May.
April
- Easter Bunnies are again seen on the Island.
- An earthquake shakes the Island, the epicentre being somewhere to the South East of the Island.
- Stories of Spirits possessing the living begin to increase.
May
- Escariot wins the Dork Cup.
- Strange noises are heard from the mountain. Tales spread of worried natives being overheard discussing some fearsome bird-like creatures that once roamed parts of the island.
June
- Juicing of fruit creates new business opportunities for those on the Island.
- Strange lights are seen in the skies about the Island that display a ghostly message of '#Shartak'.
- Those using maps start to share tips on how to make more use of them, noting interesting locations for further investigation.
- Successive Mercenary's Guild and pirate assaults on York, initiated by Keiichi, are successfully defended by the Colonial Police and their allies in what is known as the Third York Invasion. As a consequence of attrition the 1st Imperial Privateers Regiment is disbanded.
July
- The Traders on the Island start to sell backpacks.
- Blue Hummingbird founds the Royal Court of Greater Raktam.
August
- The Battle of the Pirates Graveyard sees the destruction of the pirate force lead by the Brotherhood of the Coast that was plaguing Raktam during August.
September
- An election is held in Durham.
October
- The Battle of Archer's Pool sees a coalition of pirates defeat the natives of Dalpok and their allies.
- Shamans reveal powers previously unknown by which they torment spirits to shriek, wail and gnash their ghostly teeth.
November
- Salvaged GPS units begin to show signs of deteriorating batteries.
December
- Santa returns to the Island for the holiday season.
