I have restructured and rewritten the whole article. The new edition is heavily based upon the previous version of the guide. - That's my fault. I started this page, then got occupied with the historical articles and DEP. My Shartak muse can only handle so much. Any additions are welcome.--Black Joe 02:30, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Tips for starting out
I removed the following from Tips for Starting Out:
*The jungle isn't easy to just walk through. Before heading out into the jungle, it is advised that you have the Trekking skill, so you can travel further in the same amount of AP.
The Island is easy to walk around. Some parts are more difficult, but it's not that hard - trekking just makes it cost less AP, which can be an issue for new players with the IP block. You can start and play a character without trekking.
I'd like to suggest we avoid telling people how to build their characters on this page. There are other pages where skills can be recommended for various reasons (some for hp, some for attack, some for healing, some for trekking, some for exploration etc) and for the various ways that people play.
The newcomers guide for example could include a link to the Tips_and_tricks#Beginner's_guide which has further information, including recommended skills. Johan Crichton 21:59, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
