The term "MG gang" is an alternate name for the so-called Mercenaries Guild. The term is used by some of the MG's opponents in from the city of York, especially some in the Colonial Police. The people who use it claim that the term better reflects MG behaviour: The MG often behave neither as "mercenaries" nor as a "guild", but as essentially as a criminal gang, so say their opponents.
