What I think could be done to make it so that the footprints in the snow are clearer. X's mean someone exited the square, •'s mean someone entered the square, and *'s mean there's footprints going both in and out. Also, I thought abbreviating the compass directions (N, NW, etc.) would be easier to read than having them spelled out (north, north-west, etc.)
