In the aftermath of this atrocity, the finger of blame is being pointed in many directions. Many blame the lack of shamans in York of late, because this maniac's mass-killing spree was preceded by dozens of banshee wails, which softened the people up. Others blame the lack of protection provided by the Colonial Police, who are in a transition state while leadership is being transfered, and were all exhausted from their extensive celebrations the night before, thus were not able to offer much protection. Still others point to the lack of multiple exits from the medical hut as a cause of the particularly high amount of bloodshed.
