Poison Berry and deliveries

Do you guys sell poison berry juice for those of us that like something with a little more kick than just plain rum? Also, do you do deliveries outside of the shipwreck area? --Oktavius 00:26, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

We are currently negotiating with The Brotherhood about a cooperation at their west coast trade line. If we find a common denominator (for they appear to be quite violent which isn't really the kind of thing we support), our juice will eventually be sold in Durham as well. But all this is still being discussed and could also remain a "future project" for quite some time. Another future project is to have a permanent outpost somewhere in the jungle (or anywhere else. Any recommendations?). We don't do deliveries however, for Shartak Juice consists of only 2 members at the moment. I thought about selling a poison berry / sweet berry combo pack but decided to wait for a rise in demand. I count your request as said rise and will bring some poison berry juice next time I head towards the shipwreck.--{ Alien Pirate Demon } Talk! | Juice! 07:37, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
To answer your question on my talk page, I did see this, but when I was in the shipwreck area your shop was closed, so I missed the opportunity. But, as luck would have it, I am nearby now! As for applying for a job, I am afraid I am quite busy with other things. But if you are interested in expanding to the Durham-Fort Creedy area, then Creedy can provide you with a roof and there are several trees nearby for harvesting fruit. You would have to do the market research study yourself, though. --Oktavius 23:20, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Hafford

I am not one of the outsiders. I am a native to the island, From Dalpok. (Though i do not spend much time there.)

I got a whole lot of gourds and make juice. My name is Hafford. Maybe, if you are interested. (And after i learn to speak your language.) I could help you in your Juice-passion, perhaps be part of it. -- Hafford 7th of August.

Shartak Juice Inc would be happy to welcome you. But we have no way of contacting you. Let us know, when you're near the shipwreck area during your journeys.--{ Alien Pirate Demon } Talk! | Juice! 06:50, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Me again. We finally decided to open a branch in Dalpok. There have been some difficulties with the locals, when I wasn't able to communicate, so I worked hard to learn your language. At least I can speak now, figuring out the writing will take some more time. So ... I'm in Dalpok. Let me know, when/if you're there.--{ Alien Pirate Demon } Talk! | Juice! 14:26, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

I'm sure the Admiral will send you an invite soon. In the meantime, I'll pick you up at Jakota's and lead you to our top secret fruit locations.--{ Alien Pirate Demon } Talk! | Juice! 09:37, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

When? parrot 04:40, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Now.--{ Alien Pirate Demon } Talk! | Juice! 09:05, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

I am so very sorry but what does 12SW mean. :( parrot 22:04, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Hehe. I see we have a powerful recruit here. No worries. 12SW means 12 squares to the South-West. Just click the bottom left move-button and you will move 1 square in that direction. Do that 12 times and you'll be 12SW. Other common abbreviations are: N for North, E for East and any combination of them all (like NW, SE, ...) except SN or EW, which wouldn't make any sense at all. Apart from that, there's "FAK" for "First Aid Kit" and "JUICE" for "Shartak's freshest and most delicious fruity fluid made by mother nature and bottled by Shartak Juice Inc.". That last one is not so common yet.--{ Alien Pirate Demon } Talk! | Juice! 08:41, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

lol, ko well I am there now! parrot 08:20, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Hey, I can see you clicked on the clan-invitation this time. Congratulations and welcome aboard. If there's anything you need help with while alien is on his business trip, let me know! --Admiral ThrawnTalk! 12:38, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Ok thanks, sorry I go afk to much but I have other things to do, how about I just collect juice items and bottles and I just sit here and guard the tree. parrot 23:55, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Don't need to "guard" the tree. The tree is for everyone. But it would indeed be helping, if you sat there collecting fruit and maybe juicing and handing it to the Admiral, whenever he comes to collect new stuff for the shipwreck. But I guess, that's pretty annoying in the long run. Just let anyone of us know, what you want to do, once you feel bored. Good luck. (Dalpok is pretty rough. Hard to convince the locals that I - a pirate - won't kill them)--{ Alien Pirate Demon } Talk! | Juice! 10:13, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

I'll be afk for a week or so. We'll see about all this later. --Admiral ThrawnTalk! 19:58, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Trader Tim

Hi, I just recently made a character in Dalpok and he needs a good job. Any interest in hiring someone from that area? The name's Trader Tim[1] There are plenty of fruit trees around town and the nearby cave might have some fungus, so I should be able to offer a decent selection. Anyway send me an invitation if you're interested.

G'day, Trader Tim! We're always happy to expand our network to bring the best fruit juice to those who long for it (especially lately, since two of our members are on hiatus). So, welcome to the team! I'm not sure if the fungi juice is really a good idea, but if you should discover a natural source it would be very interesting to further investigate this new flavour. If you should need any hints or help, don't hesitate to ask.
(Oh, and one thing concerning the wiki: please make sure to always sign your posts by clicking on the signature button or by typing ~ four times.) See you out there, Admiral ThrawnTalk! 08:39, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Sure thing, I'll start stalking up on juice. By the way, pumpkins are found in huts right? I don't have any first hand experience with this because I've never played during Halloween. Dr. Shrink 01:21, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure about pumpkins either. It says here that they can be found in the jungle, but up until now I didn't find any. Keep your eyes peeled! Admiral ThrawnTalk! 09:05, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

I did a bit of searching on density 3 jungle and found a couple pumpkins. I'm still not sure about huts but I'm pretty sure that jungle density 2-5 is the best place to find them. I'll be selling the juice for 2 bottles per coin since that will heal the same amount as 3 regular juices which also cost 1 gold coin. Let's get as many as we can before it's too late! Dr. Shrink 23:02, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Graagh. I spent all my AP but couldn't find more than three lousy pumpkins. Maybe we should sell the juice at a higher price due to the rareness of this product? It would be so cool to have a big supply of pumpkin juice stashed somewhere... Admiral ThrawnTalk! 08:19, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Fungi Juice - Any ideas?

I recently confirmed that fungi can be found in the cave near Dalpok, and I was wondering how much we should sell it for. The trader in Dalpok offered to buy one bottle of the juice for 3 gold coins, and I remember that a while back he had some for sale for 5 gold coins a pop. I was thinking of maybe selling them for 1 gold coin each. Sound good? Dr. Shrink 23:12, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

P.S. If anyone wants to stock up on fungi I can show you where it is. Just say the word and I'll lead you to it. Dr. Shrink 23:12, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Aahh, applied science! Judging by the effects of fungi consumption, I'm not sure if people will want to buy it. So, like you proposed, try to sell the bottle for 1 gold coin. It would be interesting to see if there's actually demand. Keep me posted on the results! And one day I'd really like you to show me where to find these little buggers. Admiral ThrawnTalk! 16:48, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Well according to this the juice does more than just poison you (not the fungi though, that just poisons you). It would probably be pretty useful for PKers, people who run out of AP next to a bunch of dangerous animals, or anyone who needs a quick offensive boost. Personal accounts from the shartak forum seem to support this. Dr. Shrink 18:43, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Another New Product: Apple Juice

For those of you who haven't found out yet, apples can now be found in the South East corner of the sacred space. Each apple heals 1 HP and it takes 5 apples to make one juice. So far it looks like the juice just heals 4 HP like the regular varieties. Just remember not to kill anyone or you won't be able to get into the sacred space as easily.
