Currently trying to jot down some wiki info for the new ghost ship. Still investigating so some current info may not be correct. Only been able to gather what I can from the forums, till I arrive on the vessel myself. Everything on this page is going to be updated to a proper wiki standard once more info has been gathered. For now it's just scribbled notes.

Ghost Ship

Constantly moving throughout the sea around Shartak, the Ghost ship offers unique NPCs to fight or heal, and unique items to acquire. The Ghost ship is a new feature implemented on 10 November, 2010 as Eerie lights sighted out to sea. The first user other then Leaky Bocks (Simon) to set foot on was Mencken (Dani al-Ghazali). So far it has been noted that the ship is moving. Where it is going or what is course is, is still unknown at this time.

The update info

10 November, 2010 - Eerie lights sighted out to sea

Rumours of eerie lights being sighted out to sea off the northern coast near Durham demand further investigation. One adventurous townsperson returned having seen nothing, although he did report that during the quiet following a storm he thought he heard the firing of pistols carried on the wind. As yet, no word has been received from the other three who went looking.

I got better ones coming before anyone shouts at me:

The scribbled rants

These won't make it to the wiki But I figure some things may be worth keeping on my page. Such as the first Graffiti found in the beast.

Ghost Ship: Carved on the wall is some writing. It reads “Dani al-Ghazali claims this ship and all its crew in the name of New Haven.”

Cabin: Carved on the wall is some writing in a strange language. It reads “Siklal Falcoo Laleck!” (In native that read Skull face Lives!)

Galley: Carved on the wall is some writing. It reads “Arrr...This be The Ghost Ship Lollypop. Tread lightly here...”

Who's made a claim to the ship so far?

The Lollypop Guild

The Society of New Haven

Rumours and speculation

Why Mencken (Dani al-Ghazali) was the first to player other then Simon himself (Leaky Bloks)to arrive on the ghost ship, it's quite possible that someone else was there before hand or that simon decided it would be fun to write a little tag (make you own speculation from this) in the captains cabin. According to mencken the following was written on the wall: Skull Face Lives! Apparently he was able to write overtop of it just like any other graffiti, so it wasn't part of the ship description. After testing it, he rewrote the original message on the wall.

Glitches

This part is most likely going to stay on my page.

Sometimes the ghost ship icon may be invisible to a user. This is not a feature turns out. If you’re on the tile you can still enter the ship, you just cannot see it's sprite. I won't say what causes it, because I lack the exact details however it's something to do with the CSS and overlay.

How to fix? So far Ctrl+F5 seems to make it reappear . Yes that’s the refresh button. Note that hitting the Shartak refresh button will not make it reapear

Tathers Talk

Oh Ghost ship, nice addition.

I believe that adding this as a new page, then linking it to the NPC page is a better idea than adding it to the Special Animal page. Again, add it as you think it should be added, then I can edit it around, or others, to how it fits in the wiki itself.

Screenshots would be a good thing too. Uploading photos is easy enough, just use the upload file which is located in the toolbox. Just make sure each picture has a unique name so it doesn't overwrite other pics, and has a short description so others know what the file is.

HOLY GODIVA YOUR ALIVE MAN

And just got some screen shots uploading them now. Thanks for the advice. Placing everything on this page to start, then getting someone to proof read over everything, before attempting to add on to the original wiki. Search rates and stuff will take a while, so the pages may go up before them. Pistols are finally here though! Would you count the initial entrance as a point of interest? It just has area title Ghost ship. I've added it anyway but I figure you would be the man to ask.

Tather's Talk Part Two

The wiki is on my top lists, so it tells me when stuff changes on it. As for the new items availiable, feel free to use the templates from the other items pages to figure out how to make them.

Crowley Talk Part Two

Ta. Added them into this section. Still going to take another week thoroughly investigating the place, perhaps you want to give some sections your approval to see if there ready to be added, once a week is up?

Tathers again

You asked for it. Here's how I would have the information listed on the wiki. Feel free to alter as you see fit.

Crowley Once more

Looks good. Still got to add the interior ghost ship tile, changed a few things since the exterior wasn't accurate. Other then find rates, enemy specific details and that one clear image of the ghost ship interior I do beleive most general info is done. Just need people to clear off the Ghost ship interiour tile. Standard search rates are calculated from 1000ap worth of searches right?

Tathers take four

Honestly I don't bother with search results. If you want true results, it's based off of a 1000 searches and I don't expect anyone to waste that much AP Searching. I just list the items available for finding.on a specific tile.

As for gold offered by traders, we do a range, considering with haggling and short supply the high range and without haggling and short supply the small range. So if he's offering one four, then it's probably 2gc for the short range,.
