The world fades away from Akiak as the juice takes it's affect. The aether in the cave becomes more and more apparent as it takes on a life of it's own. Suddenly times slows for Akiak; the world coming to a pause as he looks around. A sudden flash and Akiak sees his home village.

Many of the huts are on fire, men of legendary stature responsible, as some of the villagers are cut down trying to run. Some of the men charge the attackers, but their daggers, blowpipes, and clubs are no match for the armor of the men. Their swords cut down the warriors in swift fluid, yet violent, motions. Akiak watches in pain but knows he is not here to stop them, merely save himself. He runs from the village from the spot where he was hiding. If he remembers right his younger self should be at the edges of the village.

Akiak was right, but unable to stop the younger self from entering the village. He could see the attention of the men going from the young women to the young warrior. They were heading towards the young warrior with their evil weapons. The man with the barbed chain whip pulled his arm back to strike the young warrior for challenging them. As the whip was coming down to strike the younger Akiak, the older bearded Akiak stood between the two, blocking the whip with a heavy sword. The whip wraps around the sword but cuts across Akiak's arm, causing him to lose his grip. With a flick of the wrist the evil warrior disarmed Akiak.

Akiak lunges at the man, one fist pulled back to throw a punch, the other grabbing for his dagger. The punch throws the large man off balance and makes him fall to the ground. Akiak turns to the other two and lunges with his dagger at the one closest to him. The dagger sinks into the mans stomach as the third man tries to pull Akiak off of his fellow warrior to stop Akiak from killing him. Akiak turns to the other man and throws a punch, knocking the man's helmet off. Akiak turns back to the first man and hits him again.

The three men are at the mercy of Akiak when he turns to the young warrior. "Run. Run very far from here." he says while standing above one of the men, holding him by the throat. The young warrior looks up at the bearded Orwhan warrior in surprise. After a second the young warrior turns and runs into the jungle. Akiak continues to beat on the evil warrior. As much as he would love to kill them, he wouldn't have the chance to since he was already starting to disappear.

In a matter of seconds the world around him, the burning huts and evil warriors, disappears and is replaced by swirling aether. The cave becomes visible once more. Akiak was still laying on his back in the cave, but the barbed chain whip was no longer in his arm.
