The Bloody Legion of Black-Hearted Brigands

We be The Bloody Legion of Black-Hearted Brigands, the cruelest, most vicious band of outlaws to ever set foot and peg on this god-forsaken island. Our unconquerable souls be roamin' the land freely and dangerously and we shall be respected and feared. We aim to take what's ours, rightfully or wrongfully, by hook or by crook, and only a dead man be tellin' us otherwise.

Intentions

The primary objective of The Legion be to restore some semblance of pride and discipline among pirates. The shipwreck must be tightly run by professional killers if we be to present a united front to the island. If no such professionals can be found, any and all manner of scoundrels shall suffice. We shall focus our defenses on the shipwreck and the temple and our attacks on the outsiders and natives who plague our shores with their civility and savagery. Brigands may always pillage and plunder as they see fit, but when The Legion fights as one, we shall crash down upon our enemies like a tidal wave and drown them in an ocean of their own blood.

The Hell-born Strumpet, stammeringly referred to as the shipwreck by those too fearful to speak her name aloud.
The Brigands marching off to war.
The Brigands returning from pillaging and plundering, headed to the nearest dive.
The land-lubbing settler, identified by common traits: Soft and pale complexion, good personal hygiene and a wistful glare of complacency mingled with sobriety. Not a likely member of our bloody crew.

Recruitment

Although our Brigands be a drunken and violent lot, any class may join at their own risk. Soldiers, mercenaries, traders and healers be particularly useful, and even a cannibal savage may find work interrogatin' prisoners in the hold. We may give ye' hell for yer soft upbringin', but we look after our own.

Diplomacy

Has one of our Brigands crudely slain ye' in yer sleep? Damned right. Ye' probably deserved it and if not ye' do now, simply for the complaint, so consider us even. If any free man has a mind to challenge us, we be seldom hard to find. Just follow the drag marks and desecration until ye' see a sky full of billowin', black smoke, and listen for a foul wind. Amongst the screams of the fallen carried within, ye' be hearin' the death-rattle of men's laughter, gold coins and bottles clinkin'. That's where we likely be, and ye'd bloody well better be armed to the teeth and ready to die violently for yer concerns, as any man crosses The Bloody Legion of Black-Hearted Brigands surely will.

Now, all sweet-talkin' aside, Durham be known as pirate country, friends to the scurvy and the drunk, and the Brigands do be known to take an interest in business a time or two. So if'n ye' hail from a hearty lot of scalawags that be wishin' to make ends meet in a back alley somewheres, the Captain and his crew may have ears for ye'.

The Crew

All Brigands be at liberty to add themselves to the ship's manifest according to their trade. Crew positions may have multiple entries and may be created and filled as needed.
