Society for the Promotion of Independent Research on Interdimesnional Translations on Shartak
Leadership: Founded by MorkaisChosen.
Members: Three
Goals: Research on the spirit phenomenon
Recruitment policy: Primarily scientists who want to research the spirits, but also scouts and bodyguards. Non-pirate outsiders only.
Contact: MorkaisChosen, in-game or on the Wiki.

The Society for the Promotion of Independent Research on Interdimesnional Translations of Shartak (or S.P.I.R.I.T.S. for short) are a group of Outsiders interested in research on the spirit phenomenon. They move around Shartak trying to find any spirits, and in some cases, creating them from the native populace (an unresolved moral issue that will be decided if the membership ever grows). One point of interest is the fact that it is possible, after death, to be "revived" by native shaman (a phenomenon that has occurred frequently to the founder, MorkaisChosen). This is one of the primary research points.

Membership is open to all outsiders, but primarily scientists whose goal is to research these phenomena. Scouts, soldier bodyguards, and settlers interested are also welcome: just add your name to the list below.

If more members join, I'll make a forum for the members to discuss strategies, interesting discoveries and general stuff. MorkaisChosen 16:54, 15 March 2006 (GMT)

NOTE: I'm using this talk page as a kind of research log (in character) type thing. If any member of the Society wants to join in, they can, as that's the whole point of the group... I'll set up the clan on Shartak (the main game) as soon as I can get another 200 or so experience. I'm heading up to a native village... Wailing works!
