Rakmogak is a unique native camp on Shartak. For many generations its location was a secret guarded by the council of shamen due to the village's association with the forbidden arts of cannibalism. Recently rediscovered by explorers, it is now known that the village sits at the centre of Skull Island, an isolated landmass off the north-east coast of Shartak. Skull Island is separated from the mainland by a large expanse of shark-infested waters.

A shaman named Hodrali keeps watch in the center of the village.

Map

The Rakmogak territory map should be considered incomplete as the cannibals insist on eating surveyors who come to their village. One helpful cannibal has said that it includes only three huts (the normal resource ones) and has four caves, providing two entrances each to two small tunnels.

Notes:

  • The above is a default territory map, not a map of jungle density (which constantly changes). Therefore, the jungle and village squares will very likely be colored differently in-game than they are here. Squares within the village will be displayed as "Rakmogak" on the game map, while jungle squares will be displayed as "Jungle".
  • The numbers on the map are merely for local reference and are not related to GPS coordinates at all.

A Rough Guide To Rakmogak

Rakmogak is not your typical tourist destination. The inhabitants are cannibals who enjoy eating other humans. Consequently the village is shunned by native and outsider alike. Exploring Skull Island is a risky business.

Smaller islets exist off the coast of the island and some are rumored to have tunnels running all the way to the mainland.

Business in Rakmogak

Despite having a reputation for shaking hands and then eating them, cannibals are highly successful businessmen. The rich natural resources, the adventurous tourist appeal and the large market hungry for premium products makes the cannibal island an excellent location for business. Brave investors can reap tremendous rewards if they survive. Cannibal Utility (a subsidiary of Durham Utility) presently has the largest market share and seeks to develop the Rakmogak Bazaar and a number of forthcoming mining projects.

The Rakmogak Bazaar, largely catered to by Cannibal Utility, houses several shops and restaurants specialising in an immense variety of products and cuisines. These shops include the well-known trader Gak in the adjacent building as well as the local branch of Utility Bank. Cannibal Cook's Kitchen is a food court favourite and considered an anchor to the bazaar. Rent paying tenants are offered protection by Cannibal Security from thieves, assault, and supercannibals. Credit and debit for use in the bazaar is available from Utility Bank.
