General Information

These items belong in no specific category, yet help in everyday life on the island. They range from helping one find their way on the island, to making signs. Some items have links which expand on their uses.

Backpack

• Location Found - Trader's Hut
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - 14-17 gold coins
• Use - Expands inventory from 70 slots to 100 slots. Effects are not stackable.
• Special Notes - Trader only makes one of these a day.

Crab

• Location Found - Beach, dunes
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - ?
• Use - None that is known of.
• Special Notes - Sometimes will scuttle away, causing 1 HP of damage as it pinches you.

Easter Egg

• Location Found - Jungle squares during special occasions (mainly around Easter).
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - ?
• Use - Cracking open a egg can reveal an empty egg, or a gold coin.

Egg

• Location Found - Mountain Path
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - ?
• Use - After holding an egg for one week, it will hatch into a shargle. Burying the egg will delay hatching until someone digs up the egg.
• Special Notes - Clicking on a egg too much will cause it to drop from your inventory and breaking. This results in nothing.

Empty Bottle

• Location Found - Outsider Resource huts, jungle
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - ?
• Use - Can be filled up with water from any water location, or juice from fruit.
• Special Notes - drinking from a container always leaves an empty bottle in your inventory.

Empty Gourd

• Location Found - Native Resource huts, jungle
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - ?
• Use - Can be filled up with water from any water location, or juice from fruit.
• Special Notes - drinking from a container always leaves an empty gourd in your inventory.

Empty Seed Bag

• Location Found - For Sale at Traders
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - 5
• Use - Can be filled up with seeds from fruit.
• Special Notes - You need one of these to seed fruit. Only the same type of fruit can go in one bag.

Ghastly/Jolly Jack O'Lantern

• Location Found - Carved from a pumpkin. Pumpkins can be found at pumpkin patches, and in the jungle during Halloween.
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - ?
• Use - Can be used to scare away spirits, has a chance to break after a successful exorcism

Gold Coin

• Location Found - Almost anywhere.
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - 1
• Use - Main currency of the island.
• Special Notes - Gold Coins do not take up inventory space.

Gem

• Location Found - Ruins, Hold of the Shipwreck
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - 9
• Use - Can be traded for lots of gold.
• Special Notes - Unlike gold coins, gems do take up inventory space.

GPS unit

• Location Found - Outsider Resource huts.
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - 2 - 3
• Use - Gives the coordinate location of your character when a signal is available in a non-dense, non-enclosed area. Coordinates are in the form [-70.366,+26.443], where the first number is the X coordinate (longitude) and the second is the Y coordinate (latitude). Moving a single square represents a change in coordinate in that direction of 0.001
• Special Notes - Has a charge, which is random when found. When charge reaches 0, the GPS unit becomes unusable. The GPS unit can be used by outsiders, and natives with outsider knowledge.

Poisonous Snake

• Location Found - Grasslands
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - 1 coin for 2-3 snakes
• Use - None that is known of.
• Special Notes - Sometimes will get away, causing 1 HP of damage, and then 1 HP of poison damage for the next 5 turns.

Piece of Deadwood

• Location Found - Jungle squares with a density of 6 or over
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - ?
• Use - used to make Signs or be fashioned into tinder.
• Special Notes - If standing on a square with a Campfire, you can add another piece on the fire

Piece of Driftwood

• Location Found - Boatyards, beaches, dunes
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - ?
• Use - used to make Signs or be fashioned into tinder.
• Special Notes - If standing on a square with a Campfire, you can add another piece on the fire

Sharpening Stone

• Location Found - Native and Outsider Resource Huts
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - ?
• Use - Can sharpen a weapon, changing it's status from blunt to normal.
• Special Notes - Sharpening Stones are needed to start a Campfire.

Smokey Crystal

• Location Found - Sacred Space
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - ?
• Use - None that is known of.
• Special Notes - With the exclusion of Sacred Space, it is not known whether or not the Smokey Crystal will come back. It is still available at some Trader Huts for sale.

Tinder

• Location Found - Fashioned from driftwood/deadwood
• Gold Coins Offered At Traders - Trader will not accept one of these for trading.
• Use - Starts a fire.
