Biologist, chemist, physicist and archaeologist, this youthful and incredibly intelligent scientist was chosen to lead the Royal Society's expedition to Shartak in order to catalogue the native flora and fauna. In truth, his fellow scientists, annoyed by his exuberance and his affected manners, packed him off to the remote island with his notebooks and his faithful servant in hopes that he would meet a grisly end.
He has so far escaped death, and has discovered a ruined village somewhere in the interior of Shartak. He is currently conducting a thorough archaeological investigation of the site, which he has named 'Pesqat'. His faithful servant has proven most useful, although somewhat inept at times.
