Tom Failur:Ex-co-Leader of Mercenary's Guild and Butcher of York. A pirate who now wanders the island in search of things to amuse or entertain him. The first person to kill Santa in 2007.
Tommy Atkins:A British soldier lost on the island of Shartak who was until recently part of the Derby Privateers. He is now a member of the Derby Rangers.
Tlotzin:Aztec warrior who is on Shartak for some unexplained reason.
