Template talk:Historical Article
Wording
Nice work in the template BlackJoe/James Barnes, but should it be "This is an historical article, describing..." instead of "This is a historical article"? I dont know which is correct, but i feel it sounds sharper with 'an'. I dont know. And is the word "major" necessary. Who's to say what is major and what isn't. Was the article we've recently been working on "York Christmas Truce" a major event? I dont know. But it was an event in shartak history. Just some comments and 'food for thought', since this is your project i'll let you decide what to do, if anything.

Your point about the subjective nature of the word "major" is a good one. Regarding "an/a historical", it's my understanding that "an" is only to be used when there's a vowel sound at the start of a word (e.g. if the "h" in "historical" was silent). However, since the "h" is distinctly heard, I'm inclined to think it should be "a historical" instead. That being said, I'm not an English major, so I could be wrong.
