As he grew older, he started getting greedier. He started breaking into people's homes and stealing gold, food and jewelry. Soon enough, his guardian wanted in on the extra money and items Paddy was raking in. Paddy refused and stood up to the man. The man pulled a dagger on Paddy, who just hit him and took the dagger. − | His tattoos were acquired when he was on the boat that was sunk near Shartak that he was on before waking in Derby. The other shipmates wanted him to blend in with the others and to fit in when they reached the next pirate port so he could disappear. The tattoos are actually symbols from an ancient book. The symbols tell his life story across his body. They reach from the tops of his hands across his torso, and up his neck. He has yet to go across his legs since he still has a lot of life left.
