I think this is an awesome table that presents a lot of information well. It looks very professional, which I never thought could be done with wiki tables.

But while this works well for a single user, the extra terrain information might make it difficult to analyze multiple reports from multiple users. Most of my experience and expectations of a multi-participatory Search Odds page derives from the Urban Dead wiki which broke up the sampling for each building type. Here, I feel as though the same should be done for each terrain type. I do, however, encourage others to adopt this template into their personal user pages. --Lint 12:15, 22 February 2006 (GMT)

Actually though, I was trying to approach it from the users perspective, trying to simplify as much as possible. I was thinking that perhaps having it all in one place would actually *encourage* users since it would really only require a single edit which would always be in the same place and always look the same.

As far as statistics being broken out, I presumed I would save the page as html, pull the data into excel and simply sort. I have tried it and it actually comes out quite nicely and is easily parsed and then analyzed.

nonetheless, I would appreciate if you or anyone else who would be willing to try this setup would please do so just to see if it is actually unworkable or not. :) Fitzcarraldo 14:44, 22 February 2006 (GMT)

3. Allow for AP start / finish so people don't need to bother with the arithmetic if they don't want to

It is still one table, but not nearly so pretty as I had hoped, but it should hopefully streamline the data entry enough to get people to add more data. Still with the goal to parse it all externally later as that part of the job is no problem. With that said, I will perform a second trial with the following.
