search odds
my comments reverting your change to the main page concerning search odds:
changed search odds back 2 condensed ..lint had it that way (maker of search odds). search odds condensed IS in use only no one seems to add data :/ additionally, the results come only from condensed
and on the search odds condensed THERE IS A TABLE. so I have removed your comment. I also just put in a row of data.
about two weeks ago I had removed the raw data when I collated it as is normal. Unfortunatly, there are not many people helping with inputting data, you were one of the few, so I have not given a data for collation as I did previously since doing all the collation work with 20 rows of additional data is basically a waste of time.
feel free to contact me via my talk page and of course please feel free to add data to the table from your searches! -- fitzcarraldo|T 15:25, 26 April 2006 (BST)
class column
is there a feeling that the odds are different for each class of character? I understand with scavenging, but that could be fixed with a note.. I seem to have missed that the character type is needed to be tracked? The reason I don't necessarily want to add it is that it makes collating the results an exponential job meaning a search odd for d1 for native shaman, d2 ..etc.. then d1 native warrior.. ->oo (to infinity :) ).. that makes the need for *puts finger in the air wihtout looking at the numbers* hundereds of charts which becomes not useful, particularly with the lack of data received!? If I don't hear something more from you on this, I will revert that change you made adding classes. trading
Could you provide your methodology for determining the exchange rates at York on the talk page? I'd like to conduct a similar experiment in other towns. --Lint 21:56, 27 April 2006 (BST)

In response to this.

Special weapon event odds
I just created the page Special weapon event odds in the hopes that we'll be able to approximate odds for weapon breakage, dullage, and extra-damage-age as you and others have for searches. Any time you can invest in the project will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! — Elembis 12:02, 21 May 2006 (BST)
Ping! I've moved your comments to Talk:Special weapon event odds and responded to the first one. I've also added a "ping" line to the top of my talk page so that people like you can get my attention easily without scattering conversations all over. Thanks for your interest! — Elembis 21:51, 21 May 2006 (BST)
Category renaming
I made a proposal for renaming guide to searching to incorperate a broader set of pages (not just search data but special weapon event data and any other odds). Elembis suggested "Statistics" and I'm leaning towards that as well. Just wanted your thoughts on the matter before anything was done. --Lint 03:38, 24 May 2006 (BST)

Heavey Sword
In response to your message, I do have some information that some would give money for. I, however, am not sallow enough to make decent folk pay for words. I aquired my longsword in the trader's hut from Derby. I believe that once in a while, the trader will put a heavey sword into his stock. I was just the luckiest person by being active at the time. It cost me 60 coins to buy, just so you know. And by the way, my private buyer has backed away. I plan to keep the sword for my own use. I hope you succeed in your search. All the best. MajesticNinja
Policies and guidelines
As one of the most prolific editors of the wiki, your thoughts on existing policies and guidelines (and proposed ones) would be greatly appreciated. — Elembis (talk) 04:02, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Identification of strangers
I've suggested a 1 AP, 0 gold "Identify a native/outsider" action to make peaceful living easier; see Suggestions:Game mechanics#Identification of strangers. As an IFF supporter, I think you'll be interested. — Elembis (talk) 06:39, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
