	The "Third Battle of York" (called the "Third Invasion" by Yorkpeople) was a bitter four-week-long military conflict (from mid-September to mid-October 2006), fought primarily in the city of [[York]] and on the [[York peninsula]], principally between the [[Mercenary's Guild]] and lesser numbers of their pirate allies, and a broad coalition of York groups and individuals.
