INTRO

Browser based games should be one of the ultimate egalitarian exercises. Everybody should have the same chance of success / failure as the next guy. When groups of people get together for mutual benefit and fun it only takes one or two rotten apples to spoil it for everyone

FAQ

Q1: What is this?

A1: A personal page for tracking allegations of player misconduct.

Q2: Why?

A2: Posterity, warning to others, clarity.

Q3: Can't you deal with this some other way?

A3: Standard response to such allegations in a forum context is usually 'sort it out in private' and / or 'where is the evidence?'. Evidence is, by its very nature, difficult to come by and can easily be erased over time. Dealing with things in private is great in theory but only as long as it gets results in practice. Wikis are designed as information repository tools. Putting things here permits people to make their own judgements.

Q4: You have an axe to grind?

A4: Aye, a big one, the type used by medieval executioners. People get passionate about their gaming. And why shouldn't they? They invest time in what is supposed to be an entertaining pastime and therefore it can be difficult to stay level-headed when the accusations fly. Hopefully this is one way of taking the heat out of the argument.
