Richard Skull

Growing up in Wiksik, Richard had been taught his whole life how to be a warrior, a proud head hunter like the rest of his family. Around the time he started training in the ways of the warrior, Richard began to see things the other children could not. He could hear and see spirits. In those times very few people were able to communicate with the dead. Those that could were often avoided by the other villagers.

So when Richards family discoverd he could see spirits they forced him to hide it. He was told that if the other villagers found out about his "problem" it would bring shame on the family. Richards father ordered him to focus on his warrior training. So he did, but late at night he would often sneak off and practice speaking to the dead with Tapran. Eventually he was caught, and as punishment, was banished from Wiksik by his own father.

So Richard set out and lived in an old ruin he found in his travels and practiced his supernatural talents. Many years passed and whispers from the spirits told news that Richard's family had disappeared from Wiksik. Wanting to see if this was true he returned to his home village.

Sure enought his family had disappeared and Wiksik was a changed place. Now there was an abundance of villagers that could see and talk to the dead. It seemed in his absence Wiksik had become a more mystically inclined village. Seeking out the source of this change, Richard stumbled upon a strange looking hut known as the Spirit Hut.

It was here that Richard met The Necromancers. Their leader, Etherdrifter, said he could teach Richard more than he had learned himself in his years of solitude. Richard decided to join The Necromancers and has learned much in his time with the guild.

Richard can often be seen in the Spirit Hut, wearing simple robes, and reading books. Much of his time is spent practicing spells and listening to the whispers of the dead. Not content with his current power, he is trying to figure out the secret to gaining lichdom.
