Nice work in the template BlackJoe/James Barnes, but should it be "This is '''an''' historical article, describing..." instead of "This is '''a''' historical article"? I dont know which is correct, but i feel it sounds sharper with 'an'. I dont know. And is the word "major" necessary. Who's to say what is major and what isn't. Was the article we've recently been working on "York Christmas Truce" a ''major'' event? I dont know. But it was an event in shartak history. Regarding "an/a historical", it's my understanding that "an" is only to be used when there's a vowel sound at the start of a word (e.g. if the "h" in "historical" was silent). However, since the "h" is distinctly heard, I'm inclined to think it should be "a historical" instead. That being said, I'm not an English major, so I could be wrong. | ||
