The Hotel de Derby is Derby's first inn, it is run by Devlin Kard, a soldier from Derby. Devlin Kard provides safe lodging for all peaceful individuals within its walls, Natives, Pirates, and outsiders are all welcome as long as they remain peaceful. Murder is not allowed within the hotel or on its property, murder in the hotel will lead to retribution by the manager. Staying at the hotel is free, but donations are appreciated. The proprietor offers free healing, as well as protection from others who wish to harm patrons. Known PKers are allowed into the hotel until they display hostility towards anyone else. The Hotel takes a neutral stand on all conflict situations, and anyone found fighting on the premises will be asked to stop, any one who kills another will be asked to leave, and if necessary shot. A search of the hotel will yield beer, and this is offered to any guest who enters the hotel. The exact coordinates are [-70.091,+26.351], relative location is 1 NE of the trader's hut in Derby.
