An abbreviated chronology of Shartak during 2011.

In general

• The villages of Wiksik and Raktam respectively sustain a handful of attacks from numerous forces. The rest of the island is relatively dormant.

• Most of the more vociferous islanders seem to have dropped acid at least once, having reacted with surreal cynicism toward certain newcomers and their behavior on the island.

• Through the professional use of fire, roads between towns reach an all time high. Travelers and roadworkers alike now experience a level of transportation unhindered by the encroaching nature of the rainforest.

• Several inhabitants suggest promoting tourism to increase revenue and socializing on the pelagic abode. Not much changes.

January

• Raktam's mystical queen, Monaliza, finishes some final administrative work and shortly dies. Her funeral is held by a mourning court, and her final will and testament are set in motion by her followers. She is laid to rest in the Royal Tomb. Former monarchs of Raktam, SofaKing and BlueHummingbird pay homage and vow to govern Raktam as nonagonistic rulers.

• Anthor, leader of the Kingdom of Wiksik, returns from the grave. Somewhere on the beaches he finds a salvaged copy of Le Morte d'Arthur and rules with quixotic fervor.

• Dani al-Ghazali wins the Durhamite election begun in December 2010.

• The ghost ship is systematically pinpointed and a crew led by Dani al-Ghazali board the ship to loot pistol ammo. Due to its strange properties, the ship quickly becomes incorporeal and leaves adventurers in the shark-infested water.

February

• The New Age Mercenary's Guild declares war on Raktam. The conflict ends as soon as it started.

March

• Lulu the cat gets stuck in a tree. Many villages combine their effort to save the poor thing.
• A pin drop is heard throughout the entire island. People shudder in fear.

April

• A celebration for cannibals, the Holy Month of Kril'Mangar, takes place. The savage catechism strongly recommends the consumption of one person per day.

May

• Nihlia conducts a Nsoromma ritual, a mystical event that achieves peace by drawing pictures in the mud. Shartak is now a peaceful fairyland with her ruling as its princess, forevermore.

June

• The month long Team Tathers Totally Awesome Alligator Romp (TTTAAR) is held in the Crab Claw swamp. Islanders were invited to hunt alligators and exchange coconut oil. The powers that be must have a sense of humor, as a baffling number of hungry alligators suddenly migrated to the swamp.

July

• Fearsome pirate FirstAmongstDaves hikes his pants, and after a few squabbles with Derby's militia, threatens the town by declaring Derby's Winter of Terror as July comes to a close.

August

• The infamous, if not legendary, Armadox, the Butcher of Raktam, makes a reappearance. Years later, his name still brings fear into the hearts of villagers.
• FirstAmongstDaves makes a list of demands to extort Derby in exchange for the ceasing of his violent activities. With no warm response, the corsair continues to pillage, now aided by fellow pirates. The Hanged Misfit (and some pirates) is wiped out in a frenzy by Nigel the Pirate.

September

• Eyes of a Hawk massacres the entire town of Durham using a series of versatile tactics. The undertaking earns him a princely sum of 4828 XP, earning him third place among the island's top single-day XP gainers.

October

• Silverback gorillas appear on the island. It's anyone's guess how these grayed, somewhat hefty animals arrived on the island.

November

• Anthor announces his abdication with unquestionable dignity. The Kingdom of Wiksik clan is given temporary control to Jalal ud-Din Menguberdi until a replacement king can be found.

December

• Neil Tathers acts as the master of ceremonies during the advent days of Christmas. After an over the top occurrence, Neil is assassinated, and a shrine marking his grave on Wiksik island is established. Members of Team Tathers and fans at large pay their respects.
