Charms is the collective term for a group of items which, when in a person's possession, appear listed on their profile in italics under their character description.

When clicked on the charm, which costs 0 AP, the following description is given:

The [charm name] doesn't appear to actually do anything. Maybe just carrying it is sufficient if you believe in its power.

Because of this ambiguous description there have been many theories put forward as to what each charm does. However, few have ever been backed up by empirical evidence.

Skulls

Skulls can be collected from dead bodies by natives with the headhunting skill. While these appear on profiles in the same manner as charms they are not usually included when discussing charms.

Special Items

A number of special items have been offered as prizes for player-made contests, at Simon's discretion. These items show up in the same manner as charms on a player's profile. Some can be used as weapons, while others are purely decorative.

These items include:
Spring X-Game I Cup
Obsidian Spear
Kalmogal's Glove
VickSick camera
