Grayson comes from the 'Land of Opportunity.' After being captured for trying to take his opportunity, he was supposed to be shipped off to Australia. The ship crashed and he landed in the 'Land That Never Dies.' Now he is applying the 'Land of Opportunity' to the 'Land That Never Dies' to make his wages.

Grayson was born in South Carolina in 1841. He had just married, bought himself a house near his father's farm, and worked with his father with his herd, when the American Civil War broke out. Grayson and his family stayed out of the war, just working to make a living. After a few months, Grayson was out alone with a few of the cows from the herd when some Northern soldiers came through the area. When Grayson got back to the farm, his house and his father's house were on fire and his family had been executed.

Grayson lost all civility, and grabbed his father's repeater and revolver and went to hunt down the soldiers and pay vengeance to the men who killed his family. He made the men pay with their lives, after finding them and torturing them. He hung them from the charred remains of his father's house.

After hearing about what he did, the Union Army enrolled him to cause hell on Northern caravans, trains, banks, civilians, making it impossible to be safe. Grayson was the best at what he did, and what he did was kill people. Soon enough the war was over, and the government forgot about Grayson.

Grayson is a young man with many scars to prove past battles. His eyes are as black as his soul has become. He has a tattoo that sprawls up his right arm, on his left forearm, he has a woman's name, on his neck is a skull, on his back is a mural of a grim reaper with the phrase "Men of Mayhem" across the top and bottom. He has a bandoleer going from his right shoulder to his left side that also acts as a holster for his rifle. Going from his left shoulder to his right side is a leather sheath holding his heavy sword. He has a leather belt with a shiny silver belt buckle. Hanging around his waste is a gun belt holding his pistol and pistol ammo. The pistol is backwards with the butt facing forward. He his wearing a black shirt, blue denim pants, and black leather boots.
