Heya! I'm prowling the jungle to the east of Raktam at the moment, notching up a few kills and communing with the ancestors. Once I've acquired a few more skills (language and spirit skills especially), I'm quite up for haunting some outsiders to gather intel. --Dave C

Sorry I have been away for a little bit, but I'll be back in Raktam in a few days I'm leveling up around an outsider camp and pretty soon I shall be more than strong enough to kick some outsider ass.- Daylan 00:45, 11 April 2006 (BST)

Open Letter

Dear Protectors of Raktam,

my name is James Frazer and I am an Anthropologist. I belong to the outsider community, but believe me, I am completely different. I never did any harm to a native. Instead of this I healed natives and gave them gold coins and always approached them in a friendly and peaceful way.

I want to learn more about your sophisticated culture, which I believe can only happen in a field-study. Therefore I would humbly like to ask for your protection. Only if you safeguard me I can have a productive stay at Raktam.

The main aim of my field-study is to give the outsiders back home a deep and scientifically-grounded insight and understanding for your culture. This will make outsiders less ignorant and will generally help to establish peace and understanding between natives and outsiders.

The method of my fieldstudy will be participant observation, which means that I will be around the village for a certain time and will participate in all of the activities you allow me to take part in. I will do nothing else but watch and make some notes. Sometimes, if there are any volunteers, I would be glad to interview some of your people. Aswell I can serve as a translator or be helpful in negotiations with outsiders. I would be glad to hear your opinion on this and answer further questions.

Yours sincerely, James Frazer, chairman of ASSI [1] -- 15 May 2006

Raktamites

On behalf of the Raktamites, I, Jabberwockee, apprentice to the great shaman Najdam, greet you. It is good to see organized warriors, and I believe that it is exactly what we need. I will keep an eye out for you all on my rounds about the village, tending to the wounded and sick.--Wifey 19:46, 15 May 2006 (BST)
